Over the past two decades, Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA) has emerged as an important tool in the field of efficiency measurement. DEA is used to compare Decision Making Units (DMUs) such as bank branches, sales outlets, individuals or groups of individuals which use one or more inputs to secure one or more outputs. The DMUs use the same inputs and secure the same outputs but generally at varying levels. Since the seminal paper on DEA by Charnes et al. [1978] the method has continued to gain widespread acceptance as a management tool.

This bibliography consists of papers published in Journals or in Conference Proceedings. Also it consists Working Paper series and dissertations. The list has been compiled mostly by using contributions by those responding to a relevant request on the Internet DEA Home page set up at by the editor of DEA homepage at Warwick University.
